- To serve the poor, helpless, weak, SC ST, male, female and children and backward freely and selflessly
- To remove the animosity caused bycaste, religion,language, provincialism and developing the sentiments of nationalism, patriotism, communal harmony, social goodwill,unity and integrity among the people of society
- To awaken the mass for the national and social interest and performing all social activities
- To raise the social status ofthe poor, backward, helpless, needy and crushed and serve without any personal interest andto acquaint people about the programmessponsored by union and state government
- To help and serve the people who are disabled and mentally disturbed
- To improve the condition of the socially weaker section of society and to launch various programmes for their good and welfare
- To make utmost efforts for the awakening of the society for sanitation and sound health of body and spirit
- To promote and improve thecondition of the poor, backward, Schedulecaste, tribe and helpless families for social and educational upliftment
- To make the people awareabout natural calamities and measures to save youself and first aid in such condition
- All the work done by the organization which is helpful in fulfilling the above mentioned objectives will be done in public interest and for the fulfillment of its purpose help may be obtained by establishing contact with the organizations having similar ideologies
- To awaken the people about impure water and shortage of water
- To control the pollution of air, water, soil and environment and explain pollution laws to people and urging them to follow the laws strictly
- To make efforts for urban forestry, protection of environment and enhancement of the dimension of this situation and try to make public aware in this regard
- To make efforts for the promotion of cultural and educational dimensions
- To make arrangements for the high-quality education and all round development of the children
- To make efforts for the establishment of various types of technical and non-technical training centres for the poor and unemployed youth and to properly operate these centres
- To make efforts for women empowerment and social upliftment of women
- To make efforts for the development of moral and ethical values and try to bring awareness to AIDS
- To make efforts to curb female feticide
- To provoke mass against child Labour and guide them about the plans sponsored by Union and state governments for their social and educational upliftment
- Beautification of cities by plantingtrees and to try for well planned development of the city
- To get rid of the social evils prevalent in the society and deeply root communal harmony and moral values
Women are also called “जननी” in Vedas which means birth giver and the mother.
All of this sound great and clearly depicts that she is the one to be given utmost priority in the society rut the truth lies somewhere really for from this statement problem such as female infanticides, wide gender discrimination illiteracy domestic violence, dowry, divorce health & well bring, economical dependency unequal pay are faced by women in all spheres of life.
Save are functioning on grassroots level for women improvement to improve the social, economical, health and notional status of women several programs have been conduct to help women became self reliant they are taught several skills like Sewing, Weaving, Preparing Papad, Badiya etc and also thought about monetizing their skill by SEVA Volunteers.
Seva women cell team listened to her problem carefully and wrote out an application and started their action regarding domestic violence & dowry cases.
The Aim of seva is to spread awareness on welfare schemes & programs for women to encourage them to avail the benefits such Govt. sachems ig. Nabart (self help group) whenever women are facing unemployment their true potential is left without any use seva conduct free tuition classes for girls and conduct awareness programs in urban & rural areas for Beti Bachao Beti Padhao Yojna Seva spreads awareness in urban women especially rural pregnant womens of the weaker section of the society and the help to prevent Malnutrition.
The Organization makes efforts to provide healthy & nutrition food to malnutritioned womens.
Children in India face some of the harshest conditions in the world they suffer from malnutrition stunting, child labor, diarrhoea, forced begging & a lock of proactive support system.
Today India ranks behinds Haiti & Bangladesh in terms of malnutrition condition is so severe that most children in UP are stunted. Stunted growth in children is an outcome of severe malnutrition around 45% of the details among children are linked to malnutrition.
The volunteers of Seva conduct programmes in rural & urban areas from time to time raise awareness about malnutrition & stunted growth to the weaker section of the society who is living at the minimum nutritional level with the availability of limited resources, Seva is trying its best to provide nutrition to children.
Despite decades of social reforms, child before still prevails in the society kind who are caught by planes of India’s prevents prism are forced by parents to do child labor over 10 million children are working in labour intensive fields in our country children also forced to do forced-begging they are even educated & maimed to make them pitiable to national human rights commission, nearly 40,000 children are abetted every year for the purpose of forced begging Seva runs awareness programmes among poor families to make them aware that child labour is a crime and it deprives children from the education & quality of life they deserve Seva provides stationary material to the needy kids & and helps them to go to school Seva helps the children who are forced to beg due to poverty or human trafficking for children who are stuck in forced labor, Seva acts as a bridge to schooling.
Education plays a vital role in development of an individual. It empower & helps in eradicating poverty But education is still a luxury in India of accounts for 17% parents of world’s population yet has 37% of the world’s illiterates dropout rates in India are also very high nearly 40% of the students drop out before completing 8th grade in some parts of India, girls are still denied education due to the stereotypical thinking of parents that women should stay at home.
All children have the inalienable right to a quality education the Volunteers of Seva spread awareness among the poor families to help them realize the important of education Seva help to arrange scholarships for intelligent students who face financial constraints we also provides stationary materials to the needy student without any personal interest volunteers of Seva conducts free tuition classes for girls in their parents to send their to school. Good health is the prime feature which determines the quality of life a person the health of person depends on their surrounding & cleanliness.
Various programmes have been conducted by Seva to promote healthy living programs have been conducted by Seva to sensitize poor people & primary school children about the important of hygiene & sanitation many programmes have also been conducted by Seva volunteers to enlighten pregnant women about their nutrition requirement & how their how their food intake determines their child’s health.
Labourers who work for daily wages in unorganizedsectors are incited to work in organizedsectors in order to get appropriate wages to earn their bread to improve their standard of living and financial condition by Seva volunteers. Labourers and their families are provided awareness to get education, hygiene, sanitation andare familiarized with the benefits of addiction free lifestyle.
Labourers are also motivated by Seva volunteers to participate in various central and state government programmes and avail the benefits of schemes run by the same. Their spouses are also encouraged to start small scale industries such as sewing, weaving and preparing papad etc.
As this helps in increasing income of the family.Seva is currently working for the welfare of construction and mining workers. Seva is determined to motivate the child labourers to study.
Seva launches various programmes to make rivers free from pollution as rivers are life stream of the country. Keeping in mind the importance of water, Seva volunteers spread awareness about keeping rivers pollution free and the harms caused by dumping domestic waste, industrial effluent and chemical water in rivers. Number of letters are written to the State and union government to solve the problem of pollution in an effective manner by implementing anti- pollution laws and banning the use of certain types of fuels and inefficient equipment.
Seva is currently working on making river Hindan (which is a tributary of river Yamuna) pollution free. The volunteers of Seva run awareness programs for the people who live in the mountain foot of Shivalik range which is the point of origin of river Hindan which is a tributary river of Yamuna which help them in understanding the importance of rivers. City Saharanpur is situated in banks of river Paon-Dhoyi and it is one major river in the city; still the condition of the river is very miserable. Taking note of the condition of the river Seva ran various programmes for the betterment of the river. Consequently, the administration cleaned up the most polluted part of the river. A proposal was also sent to clean the whole river properly.
Seva is sincerely engaged in propagating R.T.I. Act 2005 which can be utilized as a weapon against corruption as it has soaked in to every sphere of life and grown gigantic proportions & has become an integral part of life. The importance of eradicating corruption is properly understood by Seva. So, to bring the attention about the act the volunteers of Seva distribute pamphlets and short Ads were shown on television to acquaint the people with R.T.I. act and people are being awakened to use this act for the good of the Country.
Seva stands by the people who are socially and economically poor, depressed, exploited, neglected and weak. Their unsolved problems are understood deeply and are solved with utmost sincerity. Their problems are raised before competent and administrative officers. And officers are solicited to solve their problems promptly and effectively.
Seva has sent a resolution to the President of India requesting him to set up a division bench of Allahabadhigh court (Prayagraj) in West U.P. so that the poor and financially depressed may get justice on cheap rates and easily. This resolution was signed by thousands of people.
